Thoughts With a Vengeance...

So this is the first entry in my new blog. My first attempt to be my own therapist, critic, follower, and self-help motivator. These sessions are for the benefit of no other but my own. However, if someone should find my random, rambling, thoughts interesting, by all means feel free to read and comment.

Today, my mind is on vengeance.
"Make no mistake. It's not revenge he's after, it's a reckoning." - Tombstone
“Ezekiel 25:17. "The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."
 - Pulp Fiction

Some people will say  revenge is not the answer. However, I think that depends on what answer you are looking for.  Sometimes it is not justice I seek, but my own satisfaction or gratification that I need for closure.
My daddy also taught me "everything in moderation" and "pick your battles wisely".  I don't go out of my way for revenge because when you do, you let it control you.  However, when I stumble upon the opportunity, I bask in the glory!
